Why the copper matters

Its planned primary completion date is February 14, 2027.
A separate observational study sponsored by LifeWave with KGK Science will measure circulating GHK and GHK-Cu blood levels in healthy adults. NCT07706361 is listed as not yet recruiting, with a planned January 2027 start. Each registry entry describes a specific protocol, objective, and test article.
FDA's April 16, 2026 Federal Register notice scheduled a Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee meeting for July 23 and 24 under docket FDA-2025-N-6895. The nominated bulk drug substances listed were BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, MOTS-c, emideltide, semax, and epitalon. GHK-Cu was not among them.
Sport rules are another separate record. WADA's 2026 Prohibited List took effect January 1, 2026 and does not name GHK-Cu or copper peptides. That observation describes the published 2026 list, not the cosmetic status or laboratory quality of a product.
Checking a GHK-Cu certificate of analysis
